Mark Jenkins

Installation artist Mark Jenkins has populated cityscapes with his sculptures, from his native Washington, D.C., to Brazil and the UK with his brand of “off-the-wall” graffiti. Jenkins uses ordinary clear packing tape to create his sculptures, a cast-based process he first discovered in the second grade. One of his installations was to stick his tape-based hyper-realistic fake people into city walls and trash receptacles.
